Founded by Coby and Alicia Byers in 2020, both US Army Veterans, the company has grown into a respected name in the off-road community.

Coby
A US Army veteran, skilled mechanic and off-roader, he has tinkered with everything from jeeps and muscle cars to helicopters and vintage warbirds. Frustrated by the shoddy tire gauges on the market, he decided to take matters into his own hands and create his own high-quality product. Now, both off-roaders and racers can rely on his tire gauges for precision, durability, and a touch of his expertise.
Alicia
A US Army veteran, Rebelle Rally alumna, and long-time off-roader, she brings a unique blend of resourcefulness and business acumen to the business. Passionate about helping others, she's committed to empowering beginners with the knowledge and tools they need to confidently explore the backcountry.
Jessie
Like any good customer service rep, Jessie is always ready for a friendly chat and a quick pet. She's approachable and loves meeting new people. Look for her at all our events with a wagging tail and a big smile, ready to brighten your day.

Hank
Like all good security (and heelers), he's a bit shy and cautious around new things. Given a little time and space, he warms up and becomes quite social. We know he's not the most outgoing, but his loyal and protective nature makes him a beloved part of the team. Jessie, however, takes the prize for most friendly.

The Tire-Rite History
2020
Where there's a problem, there's a solution.
2020 was a year of research and development. Coby recognized the humble tire gauge was due for an upgrade. Rife with shortcomings, existing gauges were unreliable, cheaply constructed, uncomfortable to use, difficult to read, and often incapable of accurately measuring both low and high pressures. And don't even get us started on the locking air chucks.
2021
Ensuring quality with testing, testing, and more testing.
2021 was a year of testing. Tire-Rite's commitment to accuracy and durability led to a rigorous 6-9 month testing process. Our products were put through their paces in extreme environments, used by everyone from hardcore rock crawlers to weekend warriors and beginners.
2022
The big launch: Taking tire-rite products to market.
2022 was the year we moved from concept to reality. We launched our website, Tire-Rite.com, in March and then took things to the next level by introducing our Digital Inflators and Quickie Tire Gauges at Trail Hero in October.
2023
Gaining momentum and building the Tire-Rite brand
2023 was a year for customer feedback. We introduced an 18-inch hose for the Quickie Tire Gauges and are exploring exciting new products, such as a twin compressor, settable tire deflators, compact air hoses, Tire-Rite swag, and an automatic inflator handle.
2024
We hit the road! Tire-Rite had booths at over 20 events
2024 was a year of significant growth for Tire-Rite. We expanded our reach by participating in over 20 industry off-road and RV shows and launched four new products: the TR Twin Compressor, Deflate-Rite, Flate-Rite, and Work Hose Air Hoses.
2025
This is just the beginning.
2025 is a whole new adventure... and we're just getting started.
